5 Star Review from Horror Great!

John F.D. Taff is a writer whom creates some great books for fans of horror looking for that special something to chill them to the core. His latest novel, 'The Bell Witch' was just released from Books of the Dead Press!

I also had the pleasure of having him read and review 'Moonlit Nights' for me and here is what he had to say...

John F.D. Taff "John" reviewed Moonlit Nights

Part Werewolf, Part Police Procedural, Fully Fun July 17, 2013

Parr's Debut Novel, Moonlit Nights, is part-police procedural, part werewolf story that manages to combine these two elements into an easily readable, highly researched story that pulls the reader along. The characters are compelling, dialogue is realistic and the horror is palpable throughout. Makes for a fun, involving read.

LOVED IT

Format: Paperback

I WON THIS BOOK OFF GOOD READS AND I AM SO THRILLED THAT I DID. I LOVED THE BOOK! IT WAS A DIFFERENT TAKE ON WEREWOLVES AND I LOVED THAT... MORE OF A DETECTIVE TYPE SETTING INSTEAD OF THE SAME ROMANCE STUFF. I LOVED THE WOLF CONSERVATION HE ADDED IN THE BOOK AS I AM A WOLF ACTIVIST AS WELL.. IF YOU LOVE DETECTIVE BOOKS AND WEREWOLVES THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!

5 Star Review from Goodreads!

Just saw that a reader on Goodreads just fnshed and reviewed Moonlit Nights...

Melissa Martin rated it 5 of 5 stars

Shelves: first-reads, own

Awesome werewolf book. A totally different take on werewolves that I would never have thought of myself. It was like a suspense murder mystery book. I loved the detective Aiden the most but loved all the other characters. The book was great with all of the different takes on the story from csi, detective, mystery, zoology, oh and so much more. I love there were parts in it about wolf recovery as that is sucking right now. I guess my favorite part of the book is where the hunter gets it as I hate hunters :) It really is a great book. This is not your typical werewolf book, more like a cop book so if your into all of the above it will be a great read for you. I loved it.

*Thanks Melissa, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Latest 5 Star Review for "Moonlit Nights"

AMAZING!!! June 26, 2013

By Amy

Format:Paperback

Moonlit Nights by Jacob Parr

Blurb: A crime spree of horrendous proportions is just beginning in the Washington Metropolitan Area as bodies begin to turn up horribly mutilated and torn to pieces. Aidan Preston, a Homicide Detective for the Montgomery County Police Department, delves into the case, finding himself immersed in a dark and dangerous world, the likes of which he has never seen. What secrets do these moonlit nights hold?

Review:
One incident that changed Detective Aidan Preston's life forever haunted him nightly for months. Would he ever be able to be "that" detective again? Mr. Parr takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions you almost feel like you are in Detective Preston's mind the way Mr. Parr describes his emotions. This is not your typical crime/mystery thriller. Prepare for the roller coaster ride of twists and turns. This is the first time I am reading anything via Mr. Jacob Parr and I can honestly say it will not be my last. The way the story is written he has done it so well that you fall into that world right out of the gate, and good luck putting this book down. It sucks you right in. But as Detective Preston is out on mandatory leave due to the incident that haunts him daily. A rash of odd murders begin happening. He has not been cleared yet to be active and he needs to get to the bottom of these odd strings of murder. Do Aidan's dreams have anything to do with the murders? Will Detective Aidan Preston become reinstated? It's a must read and I HIGHLY recommend this book. If you love werewolves this is your go to book, five stars if I could rate it higher I would.

*Thanks Amy, I'm glad you enjoyed the book!
